Tetulia records today’s lowest temperature at 9.7°C

A mild cold wave is sweeping over Panchagarh, with Tetulia recording the lowest temperature of 9.7°C at 9:00am today.

Jitendra Nath, assistant officer at the Tetulia Weather Observatory Centre, reported that the temperature in Tetulia was 10.0°C yesterday and 12.0°C on Thursday.According to meteorological classifications, a mild cold wave is defined as temperatures between 8°C and 10°C, a moderate cold wave as 6°C to 8°C, and a severe cold wave as below 6°C. The cold weather and drizzle-like fog have made it difficult for locals to carry out their regular activities.

The Tetulia Weather Observatory Centre said that the weather is expected to remain similar over the next few days. The region experienced a high of 15.5°C yesterday.
